Please help us honor Yelena through stories & remembrance.
As most of you know, we are putting together a tribute book to honor Yelena Brikina, who passed away on December 25, 2020. She was a most beloved mother, wife, friend, and colleague.
Please fill out the form below with your remembrance for inclusion in the book.
A few tips:
Be specific. Share stories and details and moments in time to illustrate WHY you loved her (rather than saying “I loved her so much”).
Share stories—you can focus on one story that will always remind you of Yelena, or tell a few that help paint a picture of her as a person. What traits (such as kindness or gratitude) characterized her? What moments or actions especially touched you?
You can choose to simply write about Yelena, or craft a letter to her daughters or husband—whichever feels more comfortable to you. Your words will resonate most if you write them how you would speak (in other words, forget about sounding formal and worrying about “writerly“ things—just speak from the heart).
